Enterprise Spain Rental Terms for travel between 01-Dec-2015 and 31-Dec-2050

Where customer’s travel plans have been impacted due to the coronavirus the following policy will be applied:
• Cancellations may be made up to 1 hour before the reserved start date/ time without any penalty or charges.
• If a reservation is not cancelled at least 1 hour in advance of the reserved start date/ time it will be treated as a no-show and a no-show fee maybe applied, subject to any agreed exceptions. Where the no-show is a direct result of the coronavirus a full refund will be provided.
Refunds must be equal to the full price paid by the renter, EHI reserves the right to audit these transactions for compliance.


An initial, non-refundable deposit will be secured at the time of booking confirmation. Accepted credit cards are Visa and MasterCard.
The balance is payable directly to the supplier on arrival (along with any applicable vehicle security bond).

All major Credit cards (VISA, AMEX, Master Card). Debit cards are accepted.
Diners’ cards, Travelers Cheques and cheques are not accepted. Cash rentals with a maximum of €2,500 will be allowed but the deposit will be held with a credit card. The deposit will be the estimated rental charge plus EUR €150 for all car groups except for PDMR/PDAR that will be €300 that will be held with two different credit cards. This deposit will be refunded on the return of the vehicle if it is retuned in same conditions as given. See Refueling Policy for Fuel Deposits.

In the event of cancellation the initial deposit paid remains non-refundable.


Third Party Liability
Third Party Cover is included in all rates and covers the driver for third party claims against him/her for damage caused by the hire vehicle. TPL is included in the rate. Cover is limited to 50 million Euros.

Depending on the rate by POS. Once the mileage is exceeded a surcharge will be applied depending on car group.
For all Sources (excl US/CA) the policy below applies:

1-27 days: unlimited mileage
28 days: 5600 km
28+days: 5600km plus 250km for any extra day (or 1400 km for an extra week).

An extra charge of 0.17€ to 0.30€ will be applied for any extra km, plus airport surcharge and VAT.

For Country of origin US/CA the rental includes unlimited mileage.

Maximum days of rentals    
Customer is allowed to rent the car for 89 days. After 30 days of rentals the customer MUST go to any branches for ticket renewval.

After Hours    
An additional charge of Euro 41.32 + VAT applies for out of hours. After hours are on request only


Roadside Assistance     
In case of accident or breakdown, emergency telephone numbers are: From anywhere on the Spanish Mainland: dial 90 215 2898. From any other country: dial + 34 91 594 9363 (24 hours). A replacement car will be provided if necessary.


For Enterprise locations: As a customer, you have a choice as to how you would like to pay for fuel. You will be provided with two options, both starting with a full tank of fuel in your vehicle at the time of rental. 
Option 1: Upfront Fuel
This option allows a renter to pay for the full tank of gas at the time of rental and return the tank empty. The total Upfront Fuel charge reflected is different depending on tank size for each car model actually provided. This charge may change upon time of rental.
No refunds will be given for unused gas.
Option 2: Return Full or Pay Enterprise for Gas
This option allows a renter to return the vehicle with a full tank of gas or pay Enterprise at the end of the rental for gas used but not replaced, plus a Refueling Fee of €18.00. 

For CICAR Locations: CICAR will often not supply the car with a full tank and expects the customer to return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel.

When you pick up your vehicle, you will be required to sign a rental agreement with the supplier of the vehicle. Your rental and use of the vehicle will be governed by the terms of the rental agreement and any other documentation or information provided to you by the supplier at the time you pick up your vehicle. The rental agreement is between you and the supplier and we will not be liable to you or to any third party in relation to the terms of the supplier's rental agreement or any other documentation provided to you by the supplier at the time of pick up.

While we will make reasonable efforts to ensure we are representing only reputable suppliers, we make no warranty about the fitness or suitability of any third party (supplier) product or service and will not accept responsibility for the quality or fitness of any vehicle. We welcome feedback from our customers on their experience with our suppliers. We may, at our discretion, provide you with reasonable assistance in resolving any dispute you may have with a supplier.

Our total liability to you in relation to your use of this website and the information contained on this website will not exceed the dollar amount of the deposit we have received from you in relation to your booking/rental. Refunds will not be made for bookings cancelled due to inclement weather. Again, we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance. Your use of this website is governed by the laws of New Zealand and the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

Booking information
To make a booking you must complete our booking form which is easy to follow and secured with the latest encryption technology. Once we receive your form, we will, subject to availability, confirm your booking by emailing you a confirmation voucher and invoice.

If you are booking via phone, please make sure you have read the terms and conditions of the vehicle you wish to rent first. Our reservations consultant will ask you if you have read the terms and agree to them before proceeding. The onus is always on the renter to ensure they make themselves fully aware of the terms displayed on our website.

Information disclosure
In booking on this website you acknowledge that we disclose your information to your selected Supplier in order to provide the requested rental services.

Vehicle capacity and fitness to drive
Under no circumstances are you permitted to carry more passengers than the vehicle you rent is legally registered to carry, and if you do your insurance may be invalidated. The number of seatbelts (and passengers) is indicated next to each vehicle on this website. Luggage capacity where shown is an indication only and we will not be responsible should you be unable to fit your entire luggage into a vehicle. It is your responsibility to choose a journey that is within your capabilities. A vehicle supplier can refuse to rent a vehicle to any person who is in their opinion unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such circumstances we will have no further liability to you.

Refund Policy
In the event of cancellation, any deposit amounts paid at the time of booking are non-refundable. 

If you are unsatisfied with our service, please contact us within 48 hours of placing your booking or request and we will work to resolve any issues and determine if compensation is due. In the event you have completed your rental and are unhappy with your vehicle, we are happy to assist you in seeking compensation from the operator of the vehicle.
